OPTICAL HOPPER LEVEL SENSOR This easily-installed apparatus is extremely flexible and can interface to any slot tracking system and any slot machine. The optical sensor is mounted to the hopper bowl at a casino-defined placement to alert casino staff when a hopper is approaching an unacceptably low level. The system can be configured such that the Alerts can be stored for eventual retrieval in the form of a Preemptive Fills Report, or they can alert the Handheld immediately as an Alarm. The sensor can also operate in a stand-alone or single slot mode. In this configuration, the sensor is connected to a blue light in the candle. When the level of coins falls below the acceptable limit, the blue light turns on. The Optical Hopper Level Sensors increase casino revenue by allowing the player to continuously play. It enhances employee satisfaction in that the Technicians can perform multiple preemptive fills with only one visit to the Cage. |
